Photo: "Mother's Day Caddis" - The White River's large spring caddis hatch ends with a number of smaller, darker caddis the end of April. This is a brachycentrid black caddis sometimes dubbed the Mother's Day Caddis. Look for them on the leaves of bushes and trees along the river.
