Greers Ferry Tailwater - Collins Creek Access
(Youth Catch and Release Area - Special Regulations Apply)
Collins Creek was turned into a year round trout stream by a cooperative project between Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Arkansas Fly Fishers also provided support for the project. By the addition of a water supply line from the dam, water feeds into a natural intermittent streambed. The stream has been rehabilitated into a successive spawning stream for rainbow and brook trout. This is a great place to hike, take youth to fly fish, and just observe trout. Trout tend to be on the small side because of the size of the stream, and they are wild fish.
